Designed to answer the key questions of healthcare decision makers, providers and users, our Health Technology Assessment (HTA) team works with our clients to generate the evidence base they need to establish the value of their product(s) and to support clinical and cost-effectiveness messages.
Supported by our HTA Advisory Board, the Mapi Values team has the technical and strategic capability to support the various pre-defined market access/value demonstration strategies by providing:
- Evidence synthesis including systematic literature reviews, standard and Bayesian meta-analysis and indirect comparisons
- Cost of illness and costing studies
- Cost-effectiveness evaluations
- Economic models including decision trees, Markov state-transition models, patient-level and discrete event simulations, and dynamic models
- Integration of Bayesian evidence synthesis with economic models
- Budget impact analysis
- Analysis of patient-level resource use and cost data
- Database analysis
- Utility studies (e.g. direct measurement, mapping from PRO questionnaires)
- Expert opinion panels
- Fit-for-purpose models for target audiences (in USA, Europe and globally), conforming to local pharmacoeconomic guidelines
- Country adaptations for economic models
- Inclusion of health outcomes and resource use data in clinical trials
Mapi Values’ HTA team compile and produce submission dossiers for pricing, reimbursement and HTA bodies in the UK (e.g. NICE/SMC), across the rest of Europe and around the globe. |
