When joining the PRO team of Mapi Values, the patient will be at the heart of your work. You will develop PRO endpoints, screeners, and other PRO tools to evaluate the benefit of treatments in clinical research as well as in clinical practice. You will provide critical data to support our clients in getting their products approved, differentiated and properly prescribed and reimbursed.

THE POSITION: We wish to appoint a Research Manager to join our PRO team in our Global Headquarters in the cosmopolitan and friendly city of Boston. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a PRO specialist who enjoys the practical application of your knowledge and experience in a consultancy environment. We will provide you with all the necessary training and support for your professional development in this challenging and rapid-moving field. In return we expect you to quickly build on your existing knowledge and skills, leading projects that meet our clients’ needs, and supporting the growth and development of more junior team members. Travel is a component of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Your role will be exciting and varied, leading projects to develop PRO tools. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:
- Design, organization and implementation of projects
- Leading project teams and acting as primary client contact
- Briefing, supporting and coaching project team members
- Writing reports and presentation of results to clients
- Maintaining client relations and writing project proposals with support from Directors
- Preparation of publications for scientific journals and presentations at international conferences
REQUIREMENTS:You will have experience in leading projects and teams in a healthcare consultancy, the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, or a research institution. You will be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, and an excellent understanding of clinical research and the challenges of evaluating treatment benefits from a patient perspective. You will have insight on the importance of PROs in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, and have previous client interaction. You will enjoy working in a team and will have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a relevant postgraduate qualification (MA/MSc/PhD) or equivalent. You will be fluent in English.
